The search feature in Gauge 3.0 allows you to search for companies and postal address locations to assess weather-, property- and structure-based risk scores across the contiguous U.S.
In this section, we'll discuss how you can use the Gauge 3.0 search function to find and assess specific company or address locations.
If you are interested in Gauge risk scores outside of the contiguous U.S., please contact your Athenium Analytics account manager.
Searching
Launch the application; the Gauge 3.0 feature is available in the top menu bar. Select it, and you will be taken to your default search screen.
The Gauge 3.0 search feature allows you to search for a location or company using any of the following combinations of terms:
- Company name
- Postal address
- City
- State
- Zip code
Enter your location search criteria in the search bar. An auto-suggestion box will display matched results based on your location search criteria. These results will change as you add more characters to the search input.
You can search using combinations of criteria that include company name, partial company name, city, state, state abbreviation, address or zip code, and the auto-suggestion box will dynamically match criteria as you type.

Once your desired location is shown in the auto suggestion box, select that company. This will take you to the location details page.
Advanced Company or Address Search
Having troubte finding the company or location in the main search box? Click the magnifying glass to the left of the search bar and perform an advanced search. Two advanced search boxes will appear that only search terms specific to either the company name or address criteria.
This advanced feature is often used when company names or street addresses conflict and the results are not initially found in the auto-suggestion results. This advanced feature allows you to more effectively narrow your search results.
To return to the single search bar, click the magnifying glass and select Single Search. The single search bar is the default search method when logging into Gauge 3.0.

Clearing Search Results
To clear location search criteria, click the X to the right of the search bar.
The location search criteria will be cleared. You're now ready to enter new search criteria.
