Historical & Forecast Alerts

Updated on

Historical and forecast alerts may be customized for each phase of construction. This allows you to receive alerts for weather perils and thresholds that are important during each phase. Forecast alerts warn you of disruptive weather events that may be heading your way over the next 7 days, while historical alerts let you know a weather event has occurred at your project site that you may want to address.

Configure Historical Alert Criteria for Your Phase

When configuring a new phase or editing an existing phase for a project site, select the HISTORICAL ALERT tab from the Phases & Alerts edit page.

If you've already set up forecast alerts and would like to use the same criteria for historical alerts, select USE FORECAST THRESHOLDS.

(Note: Heat Index is only available for forecast alerts)

To create new historical alert thresholds, select the perils you would like to include. Next, enter the thresholds you would like to be alerted for. If a selected peril meets or exceeds this value, you'll receive a notification the next day, along with alert reports for all previous days within the selected phase that meet your alerting criteria.

Configure Forecast Alert Criteria for Your Phase

When configuring a new phase or editing an existing phase for a project site, select the FORECAST ALERT tab from the Phases & Alerts edit page.

If you've already set up historical alerts and would like to use the same criteria for forecast alerts, select USE HISTORICAL THRESHOLDS.

(Note: Heat Index is only available for forecast alerts)

To create new forecast alerts, simply follow the same steps listed above for historical alerts. Forecast alerts are generated four times per day based on the most recent forecast for your project location.
